Ellen’s..uh..caricature in the beginning panels is a parody of Jimmy Durante’s caricature in the Brown Derby (look it up). Anyone notice that?
nate was hurt. his own friends didn’t trust him. but nate and francis & teddy are all to blame for the mess.
I guess Nate likes Mrs. Shipulski a lot. He spent 20 minutes there, which was probably his free period. He could’ve been playing table football and drawing comics.
