   I am curious. Why, in my lifetime, am I seeing the impacts of an accelerating change in climate?

   Has it impacted me? Yes. After 15 straight years of visiting National Parks in the western U.S., I stopped (5 years ago) because I could no longer handle the excessive heat/temperatures. Yes, the smoke from fires was also an issue.
