Does anyone think that it’d be interesting to have like a long spread arc where Nate actually feels real feelings about how he is constantly put down and belittled, and harshly teased, and like gives him a time where he becomes sad and self conscious, secluded, etc. and where we can see his friends be concerned and actually truly come around to show how they actually care? That would give something more personally relatable. Granted I get that Nate can be a jerk sometimes, but half the time he just doesn’t understand the way that things have an effect, and I don’t think he’s ever been truly mean, so the way that certain times things happen, they have an effect overtime, which also could be mentioned as correlated to his anger issues, he just never realized the connection until “this point” it’d really be a character development era in multiple characters.
