I like this comic. I always have, but this storyline is hurtful. First, college students are not as self-centered as you are making out. Second, it is not alright to encourage children to keep lost dogs from their owners. Losing a dog is heartbreaking. That is why owners are encouraged to chip their dogs. This dog is chipped. The girls should have checked the chip immediately and returned the dog. I am a retired college professor and a dog owner. Please have the girls act responsibly and check the chip and return the dog.
