Never mind; I’ve figured things out.

Your point is well taken, but there is something REALLY aggravating about posers. By the way, what’s the trick for doing italics, which I would have preferred doing to ALL-CAPS.

Does anybody know why he was called grasshopper?

That was my first thought too, but it’s Kramer who launches the golf ball. George, who has been pretending to be a marine biologist, later removes it from the whale, impressing his love interest.

Well, it was the first thing I thought of as well, so you’re not alone.

If you posit the existence of a god, then you have to ask where he/she/it came from. If you don’t posit the existence of a god, then why is there anything at all (assuming the universe actually exists)? Scientists now claim that their theories/equations prove that the universe HAS to exist, but I smell circular reasoning. So there is a mystery and it has no solution. So carpe diem and don’t worry about it.

My favourite bit of fake Latin. (I just reached the point where I can finally read real Latin fairly fluently.)

It seems to me that the quality of the translations has gone downhill lately. In this case, panel one omits mentioning that they’re on their way to the biblioteca.
