   This is also why we never see Jon at a workplace and why he is always home with his dog and cat. It’s also why he had no social life to speak of for years until he and Liz became a couple.

   Jon is a cartoonist and thus works from home. Therefore, ANY work he does can be considered “homework.” Any art, sketch, doodle, etc is homework that can be eaten by Odie.
