   Go to Milford to reinvent yourself, under the care and protection of wise Coach Thorp, far better than Mary Worth or Luann DeGroot. Or, having Dennis as a neighbor. He is such a menace.

   I thought of Mark Trail immediately, too. That comic strip has a new artist now, edgier, hipper, even some chin stubble on good guy Mark. It’s new & improved, I suppose, but it just isn’t the same. Gil Thorp should change, too? There’s a certain comfort level in the plots being slightly lame, the teams rarely making the playdowns, young kids who know who Ryne Duren is….

   Coach Thorp and former Prinicipal were on the track team, before my time on here, I guess, good to know.

   Wise Coach Thorp knows more than he lets on. Important to have a loss to Goshen or Tilden toward discovering the runs, hits and errors of their ways.

   Chance Macy is the only name I’ve ever heard of. Kind of like my Cubs these days.
