We have an Epson 7100 too. It works fine for me but not for my wife. I’m not sure why it won’t work for her but it has become a troubleshooting project that is now in its third year.

This has become a common scam. I always check the web site address before logging into anything now. There is most always something that is off if it is a scam. Same for e-mails. I always hover the cursor over the sender to see the address the e-mail came from. I’ve seen some pretty weird addresses. Those e-mails are immediateely deleted and to be sure I then delete my trash file as well.

Excellent chemistry lesson. Beat me to it. But here’s a little goodie from my early research days. One of the two major forms of Vitamin B-12 is cyanocobalamin.

I appreciate the kind thought. I’ve been running for more than 57 years now and I plan to keep going for as long as I can. Even if I don’t go nearly as fast as I once did.

It is 7 lower case letters. It was an inside family joke. Several family memebers were runners, so we decided to make a family running club called the lsrc, which stands for The Lake Sammamish Running Club which was where we lived. We even had running shirts printed up and we had a lot of people ask what it meant. That has also been my e-mail handle for 27 years now. Sadly, I am the only family member who is still able to run.

“Do not remove printer from box”. Clearly the best advice.

As an undergrad I took a computer programming class complete with FORTRAN and punch cards. The best part of the class was the professor. Dr. Chang had been a part of the Sun-Yat Sen government in China and he escaped to the US after Mao Tse-Tung took over. He had a PhD in Mathematics so he found a position as a mathematics professor. I thoroughly enjoyed learning from him. I will always remember his constant admonitions to be sure our cards were properly punched and in the correct order. He would say “if you do not do this the computer will say no and kick you back”. Which to me sounds an awful lot like “connection obliterated”.

For everyone “AAAAHING” about garter snakes, please understand that, except for an ability to startle you, they are harmless to humans. For a gardener like me, I consider them to be very beneficial as a natural way of pest control and an important part of our ecosystem.
