   you’re splitting hairs. “assault rifles”, bump stocks being used- however you want to define them. my point is why does the average person need weapons that can take so many lives so quickly. if you want to use these weapons, go join the military and hunt terrorists.

    i am not a weapons expert, but i would say the type of weapons that stephen paddock, the las vegas mass shooter, used to take the lives of 60 people in ten minutes would qualify as assault rifles. i just don’t think there is any reason for average citizens to own these weapons.
