Cool!! Which era do you think was best? And while still enjoyable, if youd agree that the strip isnt as good as it once was, when would you say the decline started?
Its not lazy, hes prob just running out of ideas after 40+ years…it happened to peanuts too. However its seen worse times, right now its not that bad imo compared to maybe a few years back. And theres often interesting artistic flares like Odie in the second panel.
It may not even be copy and paste at this point…it looks like he just took an entire strip from last week or the week before n just changed the word balloons…who knows when the original copy n pasting was done at this point lol…I still love Garfield though n read it everyday, even if its not what it once was.
Copy n paste…possibly an archive of saved images or poses that they use often…at least in the old days even if it was the same image in each panel they still had to redraw it each time…but its not a bad punchline esp by the strips standards today
Funny but as many have said, its a little late for a summer camp joke…what about a resort for cats? Or cat retreat?
