Back in 1988 we had a heat wave and the temps were above 100 which is highly unusual in NE Ohio. Of course our AC broke. The poor guy repairing it was dripping wet.
I was one of those rare people that enjoyed the first couple of weeks of lockdown in 2020. I thought it was a perfect reset. I now take at least one of my weekend days to spend either reading a book or watching tv without any phone around me. It’s a peaceful way to enjoy a day off work instead of always being on the go.
