My doc had me substract 7 from 100 in my head several times till I got down to 65. (Easier for me than spelling "world backwards). Good luck getting the younger generation to do that.
I ordered a new ink spool for my manual typewriter several years ago-they still make them in black/red. My old copier had a powder-ink cartridge ($200) that was a real danger to change. It was SO slow, but so accurate, lasted around 20 years. It’s comforting to have things you have used for a long time still with you and functioning. Oh yeah, I still have the metal typewriter table I had in college for my typewriter, for it’s now for the sewing machine. Love those foldable sides.
