I saw nothing in this strip about Alzheimers, My dad actually passed away from that terrible disease and it wasn’t pretty. I think that this is a strip about Libby and her grandson playing a trick on Ben and how sometimes we can’t see the forest for the trees. I am really sorry about your wife (I’ve through it) but I can’t agree with you on this one.
Old Hollywood prop. To make a person seem smart, nerdy, and different they use glasses. Then when the person removes their eye wear they become beautiful and somehow miraculously sexy.
I really don’t like on line shopping. When we used to go out to stores (we don’t as much anymore) we would get our walks in and meet new people and other things that made it fun even if we didn’t buy a thing. Now my wife and I have become homebodies and I don’t like that at all.
The common misconception about the lottery is that the more tickets you buy for the big jackpot the better chances you have of winning. Remember that (using your example) even if you buy 20 tickets, each individual number has a 1 in a million chance of winning. the odds of winning are not reduced you just have more tickets that can possibly win.
