I bought a plug in hybrid in December and on my third tank of gas. I’m getting about 540 miles to a gallon. I get 33 miles on a charge so that pretty much gets me any where within my city and back. I have solar on my house and charge my car from that. My monthly electric bill is $18 which is the service charge for the electric company. My car cost me $48,000 and has all the bells and whistles you can imagine. I say win win.
I live in a retirement community. On the two tennis courts they’re allowed to play Mon, Wed, Fri and Sun. On any of those days in the morning there are at 32 people on the court playing with another 10-15 waiting to play the winners. Tennis player have the other three days and rarely no more than 4 are playing at a time.
