I never saw a dog ring a doorbell before. I do remember an early 70s movie Benji where the dog was locked in a bank and somehow activated a speaker, alerting police to rescue him.
I wish I’d had a sister – someone to talk to and confide in. My friend lost his only sister 27 years ago. She was a sweetheart and the big sister I wish I’d had.
Lucy Van Pelt said something similar when Linus was born saying he spoiled it for her to be an only child. I never liked Lucy much anyway. Linus gets my sympathy card so does Rerun.
I knew a guy in high school who was like that: he was bright, good-looking, filthyrich family. They moved every 3 or 4 years. He had themeanest disposition because he was spoiled being an only child. I did not like him at all, neither did most people at school. I guess money isn’t everything.
For some reason Alice reminds me of Peppermint Patty in the Peanuts strip. The one who says to Marcy “Stop calling me sir?”
