I had never thought of that before. Did a quick search and Skyler and Loon do have tail feathers. You never see Roz out from behind the counter, but safe to assume that she like all female characters wears a dress or slacks. All other male characters are fully clothed.Oddest part is that shoe wears only shoes. Except on the golf course when he also wears a golf shirt.

And 2+2=4 is racist?Ever heard the phrase “you can’t make this stuff up”?The problem is that people are making up stuff every day, and people fall for it.Charlie Brown is smart one, he just walked away.

If the crop is strictly for the ears then that is true. A corn crop used for silage uses both chopped stalks and ears for livestock feed, but weather conditions can effect optimal result despite picking the correct hybrid. And that applies to any crop. My dad said that the best grain yield he ever had was a very dry summer, which resulted in very short straw stalks.

Modern seed hybrids and changing weather may allow for earlier planting and faster growth, but when I was growing up on a farm in Canada 24th of May weekend was accepted as target date for planting corn (and gardens) to avoid losing the crop to frost. Knee high by 4th of July may now off by a few weeks if daily temperatures are high enough, but high as an elephant’s eye refers to the final crop height later in August after the rapid growth from summer heat of July and early August. Of course I have heard of crop heights 10 to 14 feet in the mid-west .

Had to Google Chester Riley but the others were well known to me so now you know my age. In modern lingo I have to agree that Homer Simpson – without the choking of Bart- is the closest match. Sub coffee for the Duff.

People are generally absolutely on one side of other of this debate. Neither side is wrong if boundaries are set and reasonable consequences are enforced. My father needed just one swat on the behind with his hand, my mother threatened with the "spoon ". We were not afraid of our parents, but we learned the consequences of misbehavior. I don’t remember ever being on the receiving end but my older brother did and my sister once and we all turned out OK. And our parents are still honored in our memories.

Finally! Crop circles explained. If only someone had noticed the dog crap sooner. Unless they are stooping and scooping. Which leads to the next question : what do they do with the bags?

  8. 4 days ago on Baby Blues

Perhaps. Unless she has a different strategy.

The problem with most drugs, especially as in this case, is that they mask the real problem rather than cure. The cat may be more well behaved, but the underlying cause remains and will probably continue to progress.

That is Carl Spackler. Always spell check before posting.
