, I agree and take the high ground. Otherwise if I were Kip, I would distance myself from both of them. I believe Tiffany will have a better long-term chances by letting him “figure it out.” However, that story line works better in a novel and not in a daily comic strip.
“Still need common sense!” Correct. Don’t need college, just common sense. Maybe this arc is showing how Les started in the plumbing trade? Points for proper PPE. BTW when I googled “fix running toilet”, I did not see anything about Coke. Maybe that is to drink? :)
Wow. This really happens? I’m glad I never had kids to have to put up with/explain to a child, this parent.
My one criticism is that to me Shannon needs a drawn softer look for these sorts of interactions. Example: her “want to be friends” look gives me the impression that she is about to pull something.
As for the mother, my question might be, “you seem to have a lot of pent up angst. Would you like to talk about it? Because nearly every word you just said is wrong.”
The last two weeks have been an interesting diversion and brought some insight into Brad and Toni, even if not canon. I hope the Evans’ enjoyed their summer vacation.
Yes, very nice arc. IRL I would hope the two would see Shannon’s interest as a way to shape her energy output and it might take some of her quirks with it.
The shame of it is, Piro could really use the services of “Kid’s First” at this time. Was hoping we would get there without the drama. Bernice could have just mentioned it. But I suppose this arc is already in the can.
