    I read it in the Louisville Courier-Journal. I remember once Milford had a very good 6’10” center that Gil made into a superstar. That must have been about ‘72. Rupp was out at Kentucky. There was speculation about the next coach. There was a letter to the C-J editor that the obvious choice should be Gil, if he could bring the big man with him.
