Great job Lupin! Directing everyone to safety, and being a calm voice of reason and assurance. It’s not we haven’t seen him take charge and be protective in the past. He just tends to be a little more chaotic about it.
I thought yesterday that Sophie’s Woman might offer something like that. Good on her for being understanding in the end. Not everyone could do that, maybe I could be as understanding, but not right away. Maybe now Tidy Woman can get a better understanding on how to truly care for a pet companion?
Great job Jules! You herded Sophie’s Woman right back to where she needed to be. I do hope Sophie has had time for another one of her masterpieces while she was trapped in the bathroom.
Well I certainly can’t fault Sophie’s Woman for that reaction. She’s probably thinking something like “just back out slowly, don’t turn your back on her, and get the heck out of dodge!” I wonder, is Jules herding back in so that she can see and find Sophie, or is he keeping the door open for an escape?
Wow, that is one delusional woman. You can tell by the way her husband responded, with that “Mmm…” that he gave up a long time ago. And now, the only way to live with it is to just take the path of least resistance. Darn you Georgia, I really enjoyed disliking this couple. Now I kind of pity them. Still, I’m anxious for Sophie for get out there. I’m hoping that Gutter is out by this point, and the mice are making their way back to complete the mission.
And look, they still have their full glitter bags! I wonder if that will be added to the kitchen chaos, or used to enhance that lovely sterile living room? Either way, it will be glorious.
I love how you can see the progression of Sophie’s feelings as you read each panel. First she’s still anxious and unsure of her ability to help. Then surprised by the sudden light and intrusion by one of the tidy two. Then anger on the nerve that tidy woman to actually call that brave racoon “awful”. And finally to the absolute fury that’s about to released on this house, as Sophie opens a can of whoop-ass.
