There is a reason that the US has its own large nuclear stockpile – mutual deterrence. Putin knows if he launches nukes, he is signing a death sentence for his own people, and the rest of the world. We can not allow him to bully everyone into submission.
You either erased the comment that I was responding to, or it was removed. You stated that people outside of America do not find the term offensive. My comment suggests that the audience reading this is likely from North America and you should use terms that are not offensive to your audience.
I would say that you are over-generalizing there. Anyway, as this website is by and large populated by North Americans, why would you use terms considered offensive to that population unless you enjoy being a provocateur or are just an a***ole.
