   My Daddy was in the Army in WWI, ready to ship out. This was his diary entry many years later: “11-11 Armistice Day, Nov, 11, 1918 – I was in Baltimore, Maryland, and all the whistles blew, guns were fired and anything that would make a racket was used. Nearly everyone was drunk, especially the soldiers, for everyone wanted to buy them a drink.”

   Bettie Cashion. Our two dogs spent the day playing in the woods behind our house. However, at 3pm, they were always here to meet the school bus. Red and Rover make me miss them.
