    If you’re referring to DEI that’s actually addressing the proven fact that hiring and promotions are biased towards white men (there’s a lot of research that shows this is still true)So what DEI is trying to do is overcome bias so that the best candidates do actually get the job

    Slavery was banned in the British Empire in 1833 (effective in 1834) so that’s a significant part of the world where slavery wasn’t legal at the time
