This is pretty much my experience watching the “Day of the Jackal” series. Three episodes in, I spend most of them rolling my eyes at the music video scenes (montages with the director’s favorite song of the week) and the formula plot turns, but the endings leave just enough hanging that I keep telling myself, okay, I’ll check the next one.
Wouldn’t it be cheaper to just get the gas gauge fixed? It may cost some bucks up front, but that’s better than running out of gas in the middle of nowhere or paying many times that amount over time continually topping it off. I guess I’m a bad Plugger.
Jaimes’s style took a little getting used to, but this might be a bridge too far. With the elongated limbs, this is more teen Nancy, which makes the hair bow and minidress even more odd than usual.
Wait, people still read print newspapers at the kitchen table? For that matter, who goes through the trouble of placing a donut on a plate instead of plucking it out of the box or bag? When the most realistic thing in the strip is Garfield making a play for the donut…
