Oh that’s cute….My wife’s favorite color is a lavender to purple (NOT Barnely Purple). If you looked in her closet you wouldn’t know that. She has every color known to man (and a few others that aren’t). I TRY to buy her the Lavender, but 99 times out of 100 it’s “Not the right color for that piece of clothing, it should be a sage, or lemon satin”. So, I gave up a LONG LONG LONG time ago trying to figure it out.

Kidding right? Actually what they do is put you in a chair, hit you in the head with a sledge hammer to knock you out. They take a rusty pocket knife out, and a pair of pliers. Zip, Zort, Bang…done in 5 minutes. They grab some thread from Joann Fabrics and then throw a bucket of ice water on you to wake you up. I mean, you asked…right?

SOME Bachelors are 4 years. Where I went to school for engineering they start out telling you “Plan on 5”. All it takes is one class to bomb and it sets you back a semester, sometimes longer if it’s a once per year offering. Me? 6. I went to school at one place and was pursuing an engineering transfer program, but fell in love with advanced mathematics. I was in my 3rd year when my favorite professor grabbed me and said “Here, this is your recommendation letter for your engineering school, go, you won’t get a decent job in mathematics alone”. So…off I went to the other school and that was 3 years, but ended up with a BSEE and BSMA. Haven’t used either degree in over 20 years. LOL! I’m retired now, and don’t even use all the data science I was learning for the past couple years.

    Or “For Better or Worse”

It depends. They have “Associates” programs similar to the USA. Those are done at the “College” level (NOT University). Most people START in “College” and move to “University” in Canada (at least back when this was written in the 1980s).

In Canada, a ‘full degree’ is 4 and 5 years depending on what you are doing, and what you want in the end. The 5 year degrees are often at an equivalent of a “Masters Degree” equivalent to the USA. He is a “first year” college student, not “University” as it he states. He will move to “University” in his 2nd year.

Having gone to school near the Canadian Border I had LOTS of Canadian friends, many chose to go to the US Colleges and Universities as it saved them a full year most of the time, for the same level degree. Granted that was back in the 1980s (timeframe this takes place), but I think the same still holds today.

I was for years….then I wasn’t….as my dad always told the antagonist “Careful, he’s going to grow and you won’t like it”….LOL…they didn’t.

Seeing the look on Janis’ face tells me that it won’t be a problem anyway.

Yea, back then they only removed them if they were going to be an issue. Mine didn’t fit, so out they came. Now they pretty much pull them no matter what, and I honestly think its a money grab. Neighbors kids had AMAZING teeth (never needed braces), all 3 were told “You gotta pull those wisdom teeth so they don’t give any problems”. When pressed for more info they said “well, we just prefer to pull them pro-actively”. None of the kids have had an issue and the oldest has had 4 without issue for almost a decade now. smh

I won’t even start with the whole “Transfer Portal”. I mean, who the heck opens the transfer portal BEFORE THE PLAYOFFS. We saw quite a few players doing the transfer portal last year. What a mess!
