   When the strips did not update at midnight last night (my time, CDT) I figured it was the same issue as happened last week. Plus, I got a “500 Server Error” when trying to log into the site just past midnight. It was odd, loading the site worked but logging in got the server error. But after that, I could click on the “My Comics” link in the header and still get to the comics list. Nothing was updating, though. Crazy!

   OZ has been watching someone playing Clue, I see… or do you call it Cluedo? I have a PC version of the game, and whenever it turns out that my avatar is the guilty party, it comes up with a message that I am reminded of here — “I see you’ve turned yourself in. Very honorable.”

   When I am still awake at midnight my time (US Central), I always wait until 5 to 10 minutes past the hour and read the new BCN before going to bed. Last night, no updates at the site (on any strips I checked), so I gave up and just now found the new strip posted. I hope there weren’t any major issues, hopefully just a server that needed a reboot. Happy to see OZ throwing in her two cents (and her bubbles).

   Goldie is off searching the BPH for other ways of getting in and out, now that all the windows and screens have been fully secured after Sophie’s adventure. You know, in case of emergencies. ;)

   There was a CGI-effects TV commercial, maybe 15 years ago, showing Buzz setting foot on the Moon, when an alien walks up to him and taps him on the shoulder. Buzz, says “You’re not Mankind!” and decks him. Cute ad, well-done CGI effects.

    I can just see Mr. Tidy being lured into conversation by the Admiral, and that this will spark renewed and meaningful communications between him and his wife. Sometimes, someone else has to say something to your significant other for them to notice it, with familiarity comes a tuning-out process, in some people. Yep, I think the Admiral may well be good for the Tidy Family in more ways than one.
