I’m glad to see such an important issue being discussed. Giving blood is easy and can help so many people. I’m A-, so while not the rarest type, it’s one that’s always in short supply. For years I donated on a regular basis, actually got several “gallon pins,” and my husband, who’s a universal donor volunteered for apheresis and did that every 6 weeks for years. Then we both had to stop because of health issues.
I think so, too. My own mother never could see what I had to offer, while others recognized my abilities. LuAnn still acts like a mess of a teenager at home partly because that’s who her parents think she is.
LuAnn keeps dancing around her true calling. She’s good with people, especially children and the elderly. She has a lot to give. If only she would open her eyes to see that she has a clear career path.
Really? Is that necessary?
