Please open your eyes, Democratic run cities and states have the highest taxes and the biggest handouts. Both are ways of controlling people. That is just the tip of the iceberg and I understand some people want someone else to control their lives since they do not know how to do it themselves because the education system has been failing for decades to teach people to think, concentrating on memorization and following doctrine. Case in point, College students falling apart because a conservative speaker is coming to speak to those who might want to listen…

Very Funny, The Detroit Free Press had them on the editorial page instead of the comic page when it first came out.

Where’s the comic for the 27th?

Read Mallard Fillmore, he is conservative, the political cartoons on the Fox web site can be funny as well. Although I have to admit I still like Richard Nixon as he provided so much good material for the political humorist. Doonesbury got its start during the Nixon administration, but Gary lost it when he had trouble comprehending Reagan being elected.

That’s funny. Facts indicate that the Democrats have been doing more to take away our freedoms and exert more control over our lives than the Republicans. Both have a tendency to get power hungry when given power. That’s human nature and I have seen it on so many levels over my lifetime. But at this point some people will believe what they want to believe rather than look at the facts (which you cannot get from MSNBC, CNN, ABC, or CBS, FOX, etc.) You need to think for yourself and read between the lines to do that. Everyone is three people, who others think they are, who they think they are, and what they really are. Biggest errors are in the who others think they are..,

Mark, that makes sense. Life long hearing loss, being drafted or enlisting was never an option for me, so I rarely give that much thought. Thanks for your service.

Read my earlier comment about ADA is an Act of Congress and thus cannot be revoked by an executive action. Can only be done by another Act of Congress. Not only that, but State Universities do not fall under the jurisdictions of Presidential (read that Federal) executive orders that are directed to Federal Government agencies. Please go back and learn your basic High School government material.

I had a beard in high school/college, 1973-78, then saved off the beard to get jobs. Till I left work in sales for Hilton Hotels in 1981. Bearded until finishing graduate school in 1991. By the end of he year I had a beard again. In the early 70’s my older brother had a beard (he was a senior in high school) when he got back from working at a Boy Scout Summer Camp. Scout Master’s son saw him and told his father, Dad I saw a hippi and it was Oso Chris’s brother. Scout master made a case out of it and pushed it to the Scout Executive, who responded, nothing wrong with a beard as long as it is neat and clean. Mark, I know what your are saying, but it is bull. Over my career, working in food service and hospitality business in public facing positions, beardless makes some sense. But have worked for 7 major federal government contractors mostly in client facilities and no one ever gave two hoots about my beard. What they did care about was my performance.

First of all Trump administration was responsible for getting the Vaccine available in record time, a lot of the deaths had to do with bad management in Democratic areas, such as what happened in New York with the nursing homes. In March (I think it was 2022) the market took a big hit and many stocks dropped 20% meaning my trailing stops were hit and I sold them. I made money on those because I had purchased most of them during the Trump years and they were up much more than 20%. I still have cash that I have not re-invested from that time period. The Trump years were good for business because a lot of useless regulations where removed allowing more small businesses to succeed. Which boosts the economy for everyone.

Forgot to mention, ADA was passed by Congress, whereas DEI was executive action. So it will take an act of congress to revoke ADA. I would put immediate pressure on the University officials because they are being reckless trying to create ways to make people suffer because their political preferences have been rejected.
