   Many years ago when the extended warranty was a new thing I went to go buy a 27" (huge at that time) TV that was on sale. The salesman was really trying to sell me on the warranty but I wasnt having it. We go to write out the sales ticket and he picks up a stack of paper and glances thru them and asks one last time “Are you sure you dont want the warranty? These are repair orders for that set”. I replied “well you’ve convinced me”. His eyes lit up as he says “Let me just add that to the ticket”. Me? “No, you convinced me I dont want to buy a TV here”, turned around and left!
