Fun fact: This isn’t a Leaf Weasel or Spiny Screaming Death Crab situation here; there is an actual species of weevil known as the Banana Weevil (also known as Cosmopolites sordidus, banana root borer, or just simply banana borer). As there name implies, they screw with the cultivation of bananas, and if there’s a place that grows bananas, chances are that these weevils live there too.
