Yes England does have a brutal driving test. It is due to get even harder later this year. There is NO WAY anyone can pass the test in England without having a good course of driving lessons, even if you have driven for years in another country. The rules are extensive and sometimes complicated. The emphasis is on safe driving with the focus on how will what you do effect other drivers, bicyclists or pedestrians. That’s a good thing!
That works for husbands of wives who read and also wives whose husbands watch sports on TV in bed (with the sound off). The flashing as it goes between shots/scenes is a real waker-upper!
That explains a lot of things. I reckon with Seniors who have spouses that read in bed it really isn’t dementia, it’s a result of all those years of oxygen deprivation!!!
