“The climate will still change. Simply because we cannot control the climate.” What you mean is, “Simply because we treat making money as more important than health or even survival.”

Some voters, maybe a lot, will say,“OMG, this guy will leave his own son in prison? I’m voting for Trump!” And in reality, he wouldn’t be just leaving his son in prison; he’d be leaving his son to be placed in particularly dangerous conditions while Pres. Trump laughs, and denied the usual parole, etc., by Trumpie judges. Biden should not have made that commitment, & I won’t mind if he breaks it.

At least it’s named after J. Foster Dulles & not his brother Allen! Maybe J. Foster wasn’t quite as bad as Allen? In this instance, naming a major national facility after Trump may actually be an improvement.

“But THEY were white.” Not that simple. In the South — at least some parts — dark-skinned Italians & their children had to go to the Black kids’ schools. They were NOT seen as white.

Somewhere recently I read Gingrich being quoted as being upset with the Repubs’ present direction. I couldn’t help being amazed at the irony — he didn’t seem to have a clue that he is largely responsible for it.

The “I don’t care” jacket was likely intended to send the message that she didn’t care what Trump’s other people thought, when she went to learn for herself about the immigrant detentions. I’ve long thought that she’s been unfairly judged. She is not Donald.

What I heard — I think it was on NPR — was that some things are going through, but not water. The deal is this: No water for children or elderly in a dry land of 2 million, until a certain group cooperates with us. Yeah, the US looks like a real moral leader in the world.

I was thinking the same, because the Axis of Evil speech was a historical turning point that caused so much of all this. But the drawing actually looks more like his dad.
