I'm currently owned by a large yellow cat who adopted me just last week. (December 2024) His name is Gold, for obvious reasons.

Mittens is right. He has the choice. He was doing all the staring because he wanted to, not because he had no alternative.

My neighbor is named Karen. She’s a kind, hardworking woman with a ton of common sense. I’m proud to call her a friend.

I don’t like the term, anyway. While entitled women are no more enjoyable to deal with than entitled men, too often that term is applied to any woman who has the temerity to speak up about a bad situation.

My cousin was called a Karen simply for reporting a person who had his dog tethered outside on one of the hottest days of the year with no access to shade. Fortunately, the dog owner rectified the situation after Animal Services paid him a visit, but a friend of his called her a Karen on her Facebook page for reporting him.

I’ll take the raven, the owl, and the cat. You can keep the mouse. Those little b******s chewed up a lot of my favorite clothes in the closet before I finally got rid of them (through humane means).

I should have acted sooner, but they were just so cute. I had to fight my urge to mother them. Darn my soft heart!

Why couldn’t she just propose to him?

Alice, write Lard a poem. Perhaps he’ll reciprocate.

That’s what I wondered, too, so I looked it up. Apparently, the optical illusion is caused by the refraction of light by ice crystals in the atmosphere. That’s if I understood the explanation correctly.
