I moved from upstate NY to South Carolina when I retired. I just had to replace my hoodie because the zipper in my old one broke. That’s probably the only “coat” I’ll ever need again and I have an entire closet with coats that I brought from NY!!

Two things that are not allowed on my TV, sports and the so called “reality shows”. This cuts out about 75% of all TV shows these days!!

I have never liked Doritos. So, while I am a very avid coffee drinker (minimum 2 POTS a day), I won’t be bothering with the coffee flavored Doritos.

Actually, we’re on Standard Time now. DST is used during the summer.

  5. about 2 months ago on Drabble

Fortunately, I seem to have enough willpower to manage to stay away from the candy aisle in the grocery store. Most of the time anyway. My favorite sweets are chocolate cake, 3 Musketeers, and Snickers. But single candy bars are just too expensive these days!! And chocolate cake is just too much work!! LOL

  6. about 2 months ago on Baby Blues

Definitely should have seen that one coming!!

  7. about 2 months ago on Drabble

Well, I didn’t MAKE you look it up, but as long as you didn’t order anything, you should be okay. I order from them at least once a year and I only get a few e-mails every year. I love their candy corn and jelly beans. Unfortunately (?), I’m diabetic, so I kinda have to minimize my intake!

  8. about 2 months ago on Drabble

No need for candy corn withdrawal these days!! You can get as much as you want at Jelly Belly!!

  9. 3 months ago on Heart of the City

That was my first thought when I saw that!!

  10. 3 months ago on Frazz

Then be thankful that you’ve never been through a hurricane, tornado, or blizzard!! All of those cause that unhappy sound! I’ve heard it in all three many times.
