Umm, because he was tasked with investigating Russian collusion and whatever derived from it? Which naturally includes obstruction of justice related to the Russia investigation. Duh. It’s not a liberal vs. conservative thing. It’s a Russian collusion, obstruction of justice, and criminal activity discovered in the course of the investigation thing. Sorry (not really) if reality has a liberal bias.
