There is no such thing as “transwomen,” or “cis-women,” in the sense that no human can change their sex. There are trans-identified males, but they’re not women, no matter how much lipstick or wrong-sex hormones or cosmetic surgeries they invest in. They will always be men. You’re free to believe whatever you like, of course, just like everyone else, but you don’t get to dictate your beliefs to anyone else. That’s the issue. TIMs are invading women’s and girls’ privacy, taking their sports opportunities, and grooming a generation of kids into the false belief that sex can be changed. All gender is, is a set of sexist stereotypes. And the eagerness that liberals have shown in adopting this new religion and mercilessly censoring anyone who disagrees with it has destroyed their credibility as believers in material reality and the scientific method. Furthermore it has erased “woman” as a political group, because if any man can identify in to it with his immaterial feelings, then the word “woman” has no meaning. Women are adult human females, period. They are born that way; they can’t opt out into manhood with butch haircuts and double mastectomies, though a great many are trying, ultimately in vain, and to their almost inevitable regret. And if you degrade yourself to men’s wishes by calling yourself “cis,” you are also consigning the most vulnerable women in society, like girls and prisoners and rape-shelter clients, to exposure to some very nasty men who have no problem at all calling themselves trans so they might gain access to victims. Yes, it happens, all the time, it’s easy to research, despite the continual efforts of the medical-industrial trans lobby to suppress the actual data.

I replied to another commentator, “Destruction of habitat is the biggest threat. The only reason there is still big game at all in North America is because hunter-conservationists stopped market hunting and protected habitat, long ago. All state-level wildlife management (most of it, minus federal endangered species and migratory wildlife mgmt) is funded entirely by fees from hunting and fishing licenses.” I used to be opposed to hunting, but now I think it’s foolish to attack hunting when it’s habitat destruction that we should be fighting. It’s self-indulgent and frankly foolish to waste this energy when those who care about wildlife should be combining their efforts with hunters to protect habitat.

Maybe yes and maybe no, but “gender neutral” bathrooms (meaning men who pretend to be women can now invade any formerly women’s-only space they want) also mean that female privacy and dignity, in public places anyway, is no more. That’s a pretty big deal, wouldn’t you say? It mean that “progressives” are more concerned about male feelings than female safety, and that they’re getting their way. That’s not trivial, though of course it is painted that way by the men’s rights activists masquerading as LGBTQ supporters. In reality it’s TQ+ straights plundering the goodwill and hard-won political gains of the LGB. Also not trivial. I’m a male, by the way, and not that it matters but I’m straight, too. And against corporate plundering of the world and the American people.

I’m no republican, but I sympathize with them on this score, because Mulvaney is a man pretending to be a woman, not a gay man. He’s emblematic of a contrived movement of mostly straight people forcing a basically religious belief (that humans are all “gendered,” and that these subjective feelings are more important than biological sex) on everyone. No one likes being lied to, coerced, gaslighted. Trans identified males are not women, and never can be; they’re men. It’s their business if they want to live a lie, but it’s wrong to try to force everyone else to believe or celebrate it.

More like male entitlement and violence culture. Almost every mass shooter is a man. It’s a failure of both left and right to confront this problem, and a pitiful failure of the left to constantly blame guns and rarely if ever mention male violence.

McMillan doesn’t say anything about socialism being a utopia, and she’s certainly smart enough to understand that socialist governments can be just as brutal as capitalist governments. Her point, I think, is that the dominance and destruction of capitalism masquerades as freedom and democracy, and most people who live under it are fooled by the ruse. Capitalism is an elaborate pyramid scheme, little more, and its reliance on the destruction of life makes it a guaranteed failure, just like totalitarian communist regimes.

I routinely post McMillan’s work on Deep Green Resistance’s Facebook and Twitter pages. She is one of very few artists who have a clear view of our culture and a gift for sharing it.
