Using that hole in his head as a handle is brilliant. He doesn’t have much else to hang on to.

This is a commonly used device to make characters stand out from a black background. In the second frame, they are shown big enough to not need that trick.

Black squirrels are becoming more common around the Omaha area. They originated in Council Bluffs, but with all the bridges across the river they soon crossed, and have since spread over most of Omaha and suburbs.

I often go back to bed after doing my morning health checks. I weigh myself, check my blood glucose, and my blood pressure, then either make my bed and get dressed, or go back to bed to sleep until noon. Shaving is optional.

She doesn’t have the right look to be his fourth wife. He’s fairly fussy abut that.

I’m just south of Omaha. We have had plenty of rain lately, and expect a couple of more inches in the next 2 days. I’ve been wondering why there are no flood watches.

And that tail would soon be wagging the dog.

I got my father’s self winding watch when he died. I was 10 at the time. I had a series of self winding watches until I bought one of the early digital watches. I had several of those until I got my first iPhone. Then I quit wearing a watch until I got an Apple watch. I’m now on my second Apple watch and would be lost without one.

She’s a girl, and the hat and coat are probably worn to hide that fact.

    That got my mouth watering.
