I think it’s something you might find in the leaves that isn’t particularly colorful but has a strong odor. It doesn’t go crunch if you step on it, but it will linger with you the rest of the day. So although it assaults multiple senses it isn’t synesthesia

Reardon’s art is always amazing. With many current cartoonists you cannot tell one character from another without practice. Everyone in Bozo, from the boyo himself to people who only appear once, is individual and clearly understandable. It is not so much that Reardon doesn’t need words to express his point; words would detract from the point. Every drawing contains a universe. And I really enjoy that universe!
