I will never own a damned kindle. they should be made illegal. calling what they output a book is wrong. Ink and paper is a book.

Retirement helps. I go the bed about 2am and get up around 11am. After getting up to go to work for years it is so nice to go to my natural clock. My dad when he was alive was in bed by 8:30 and up by 4:30. To each his or her own body clock.

I have never had an accuracy issue with inches and feet. I have built some mighty nice furniture using inches and feet. I also speak points and picas after a 40+ year career in the printing industry. Had to get used to the electronic point which is slightly smaller than the real thing with the advent of DTP, but it does beat the Linotype. I hate metric and say that after years of owning German built presses. They build a fine machine, but they would be so much easier to keep up if they were in English measure.

Or you could have had an ALTAIR! Wait, that makes me really old, nevermind.

Cartoonist must live in the north. One south Texas August would end these “gotta love” strips.

Keep the beard. Those of us with healthy facial follicles must band together. If we were meant to be clean shaven it wouldn’t grow!

  7. about 13 years ago on Bob the Squirrel

I lost my Scruffy dog Jan 2nd of this year. 1 week to the day after having a small stroke. I went to the humane society here and got another friend a couple of weeks later. While he will never be Scruffy, he fills an empty space.

Teresa, what is terrible is that Houston won’t even get a shuttle for display because the useless person in the White House lost Texas in the election. Spite
