What I was told was that the Roman numerals used were all stamped out in one piece. A little tough to show here but one form would have Xs which could be broken in half for two Vs and a bunch of Is. Because this form would give 5 Vs, it was changed to 4 Is for the clocks. I know I am not doing this 100% accurately but maybe someone else knows about this?

Oh no! Not again! Make it stop. Please!

  3. 8 months ago on Dick Tracy

Thank you. I guess that took place when I didn’t have access to the strip.

I don’t remember a Sharptop. When did he show up?

So continuity has once again been thrown out the window? Hadn’t Honeymoon and Annie reached their mid teens a few years ago?

This story has really taken a turn into the absurd. It is also so offensive in every way. FBI agents so stupid they would drop their baby off at an orphanage? Break down and hire a writer for God’s sake.

I recall Diet Smith introducing Warbucks to Tracy a few years back before Annie made repeating visits. Looks like another lack of continuity here.

Another wasted day. Does no one know how to plot and write a detective comic anymore?

Gould must be spinning in his grave. Ithink the strip is going to be retired for good soon.

Thank you. It is much appreciated.
