My basset once pulled off a pound cake off of the table and ate most of it—what she could not eat, she wedged between the cushions of the couch. What a mess!! On another occasion, I walked in from work and catch her with a banana standing between her paws (yes, she was peeling it). I had found previous banana peels on the floor which I decided was my son’s work—I was wrong.
