Several months ago, I had posted that Kory’s new book was due to be released exactly five years after The Dreadful Fate of Jonathan York — October 6, 2020. But a while back they moved the date to September 15 — today. Even better, eh?
February 22, 2010 — LSoS debuted ten years ago today. Happy anniversary!
And here is a glimpse of the story that is due this fall:

I’ve tested the link, so it should work, but if it doesn’t, simply go to Amazon and search for “kory merritt no place for monsters” (no need for quotes) and it’ll come right up.
Also note the date of its impending release — exactly five years after The Dreadful Fate of Jonathan York.
Mayhaps Miss Slow and Dense strikes again… It didn’t register the first time, but is it just coincidence that Megan uses the word ‘cranky,’ and that one of the red figures uses a cane, as does one Mr. Cranky, whom I’m sure most if not all denizens of this space recall?
I was wondering if I had somehow missed this one on the Hubris site. But I just checked the archive, and it’s not there. If it was, it would fall between the December 24 and January 1 strips.
I chanced upon it while doing a search, around Christmas 2017. Rest assured I would link to more Kory stories if they were out there, but as far as I know, The Cat is the only one online besides the LSoS tales.
Heads up, Lobsters… It’s here!
