Today’s strip sponsored by the U.S. Postal Service! Well played, Thatababy!

I wish they would print a “cast list” with the pictures of the characters. Every once in a while there is a man who I don’t recognize and I am sure others have the same problem.

The Little Red-Haired girl was named “Heather,” but not in the comic strips. It was in the TV specials. Click here to read more – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Little_Red-Haired_Girl

@ebsan Yes, Snoopy had a water dish. Woodstock used to use it to practice his diving, and sometimes swam laps in it!

We’re getting closer to “Woodstock!” I like to refer to these as Woodstock’s “ancestors.”

Almost a Woodstock! Wrong color, but this strip would have been in black & white back when it first ran! As a Woodstock fan and collector, I love seeing the development of Woodstock from these “ancestors!”

How on earth did the comments become a discussion group on music? Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and tastes. I have been a music teacher for almost 30 years, and I am happy to teach MANY styles of music to my students.

Meanwhile, did you notice how Charlie Brown’s chair migrates during the strip? He started out sitting on the “wrong” side of the booth so his speech bubble covers up the booth’s title. Very clever, Charles Schulz!

Zoidknight, as a teacher who just spent 14 hours this past weekend working on grades for end-of-the-year projects, I am offended by your comment. I know that there are some teachers who don’t measure up to the expectations, but the large majority of teachers work many hours outside of the classroom to prepare lessons and grade assignments. You are probably one of the people who make comments about how “teachers are done every day at 3:00.” Since I coach the show choir and drama productions, my work days are rarely done before 6:00pm. THEN I go home and work even more to prepare for the next day. Now, tell me what YOUR job is, so I can take some cheap shots at your profession.

My birthday is March 2nd. I often confuse people by telling them that my birthday is on February 30th, but this year I have to say it is on February 31st!
