I've worked for just over 30 years with a Christian drama ministry based out of Camarillo, California. With this company, I have worked in several countries in Europe as well. I love it. In addition to comics, I also like to read cozy mysteries, historical fiction, and other fun stuff.

Oh, yeah! If you try to disturb a kitty who is happily ensconced in a warm bed, you will quickly find out what his claws are for. Don’t do it!

Yeah, since he mentioned it, I don’t have to!

In an old fairy tale called The Princess and the Pea, the princess is claiming to be a princess but has nothing with which to prove it.

To test her, they put a pea under several mattresses on a bed; the theory is that a real princess is so delicate that it will bother her. It does, and she is confirmed as the princess she claims to be. In a nutshell, of course. Once Upon a Mattress is much funnier, of course.

Oh, yeah! The kid has probably been rescued from one or more dangerous situations. Hence, the leash.

By the way, Mr Peters, on children those leashes attach to harnesses or wristbands. I’m guessing your kids were calm enough never to need them.

Yeah, my sister had a wristband-tether for her older girl. It worked; the girl survived toddlerhood. One end wrapped around my sister’s wrist, and one end wrapped around the kid’s wrist. (Velcro! A toddler who is young enough to need one of these usually can’t undo a Velcro wrap with one hand.)

They also make wristbands like that, too. My sister had one for her older girl, who was 2 — and was quite a handful — when her little sister came along.

Yeah, they do. Or to a wristband. Not around the neck. Mr Peters probably never needed one for his kids, and is just making a joke.

Obviously the aliens don’t have cats. Love it! Absolutely priceless.

Oh, do they ever! Yep, you’ve got the right of it there, Mr Parisi. By how many housepets are you owned?
