William F Buckley? The guy who, whenever he lost an argument, would “jokingly” threaten to bust his opponent in the chops? Let’s just say he was no Noam Chomsky.

Nasty is as nasty does. This guy ^^ calls people “stupid,” and then complains bitterly when he’s called out on it.

You mean “respectful,” not “repectable.” How respectful was it for you to call anyone “stupid?” Especially when you’re advocating slavish adherence to two identical choices?

No, you’re the reason why we can’t have good things, like nonrepublicratis candidates with a chance even to be heard.

They don’t spend a dime in states like mine. I don’t know why you would think they did.

Yeah, that’s about the shape of it. For some reason, a lot of people are in denial about that. Maybe it’s to justify their hatred of nonrepublicratic candidates or something. They’re certainly ignoring reality.

It’s entirely true. I can tell you right now which way certain states will vote in the 2028 presidential election, provided of course that there is any such thing. I am not alone: pretty much anyone who is paying attention can do the same. I don’t know what it wins you to pretend that’s not how it is.

Nothing stupid about either. In most states, remember, an individual vote simple doesn’t mean anything and is just as well treated as simply symbolic.

Cute cartoon, and nicely chosen factoid for the example, but that’s not how memory works, at all, provided you’re learning things in a context where they have meaning for you. Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes, discussed by others here, misunderstood it the same way.

Holmes never used heroin in any story I can recall, it was always cocaine. You seem to have them reversed. But if you can cite a story in which Holmes uses heroin, I’d be interested.
