I’m so glad everybody sees something (or some one) they know in this little dog! That makes my day. I grew up with a beagle who inspires a lot in this strip but this particular guy has always been a mix in my mind: beagle and basset. A lot of readers have commented about him having traits of both. And yes, he is a him, but that’s only so I can do some leg-hiking jokes ;) Thanks for your comments and thanks for following this little guy – it really means a lot to us both!
Great observation, Shikamoo! Yes, those eggs are in fact lunch portion eggs and the snake is really a Bullnose mimicking a rattler… (looks around, whistling an innocent little tune). Yes, yes… I was wondering if anyone would notice… Good job!… (shuffles feet, whistles some more)
