    @tcayer & Paul M. - Watterson has been very clear on the matter of Hobbes’ existence/non-existence. He’s simply not interested in the matter. The ‘gimmick’ of the comic is that Calvin sees the world one way and everyone else sees it another way. It’s not a matter of Hobbes being real or not. Trying to impose that kind of logic or rationale on an imaginary, comic book world strikes me as missing the point and, more importantly, pointless.
