It’s really not that bad. Most of the featured players are store owners who need inventory. They don’t need the one big score to make money.
But, storage lockers have to be inspected before sale to make sure nothing illegal or requiring registrations is being sold. That means that in real life there aren’t going to be any ‘hidden treasures’ found.
I don’t see what’s wrong with complaining about both extremes. Complaining when it’s single digit temps and complaining about high nineties temps gives me an eighty plus temp range I don’t complain about.
There is a 1/3 chance you picked the right door originally. If you were immediately given the option to switch to both doors, you would obviously win the prize 2/3 of the time. Opening one of the doors first to reveal it doesn’t have the prize doesn’t change those odds. You are still getting what’s behind two doors instead of just one.
Most teams end their season in a conference tournament that sends its champion to the NCAAs. To end their season on a win without making the NCAAs (or NIT) a team would need to be an independent or in a conference that either doesn’t have a tournament or doesn’t get an automatic bid for its champion. Not up to date enough on college athletics to know how many teams, if any, would qualify.
The bill prohibits anyone who has been elected to two consecutive terms from running again.
