In the great Britcom Chef!, the titular Chef is searching for the perfect end to a perfect meal—an unpasturized Stilton. I haven’t been able to find the exact quote where the Chef proclaims that it’s a small matter if a few people die of listeria as long as they get that great taste, but I was able to find another quote from that episode:
“That’s what cheese is – gone-off milk with bugs and mold! That’s why it tastes so good! Look, cows and bugs together have a good deal going down. Why can’t people grasp this?”
