Provided they can get an appointment the next day. I miss the days when you went to a doctor’s office (in the city, they would convert an apartment into an office) sit in the waiting room to wait your turn and then you saw him or her. No appointment was needed, there wasn’t a bunch of paperwork to deal with and no nurse to take your blood pressure and weigh you. It didn’t matter what you saw the doctor for, be it an annual exam or some ailment that you may have caught. These days, it could be a week or two before you can see a doctor.
