Ralph makes the same observation as Jerry Seinfeld, only the latter thought of a reason: Diversity of clothing is too much hassle. Of course, the real reason is that futurism tends to involve fleets and other groups that would wear uniforms.

Maybe the copyright finally was allowed to lapse in 3050, after 1000 years of extensions, so the calendars were no longer profitable?
